Hibiscus Simple Syrup Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
Directions:
Step 1: Combine 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup water in a saucepan.
Step 2: Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat and let it steep for 15–20 minutes to develop a rich, tangy flavor.
Step 4: Use a fine mesh strainer to pour the syrup into a clean jar or bottle, removing the hibiscus solids.
Step 5: Let the syrup cool completely. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
