- Pairing liqueurs, cordials, mixers
- Making syrups
- Bitters and tinctures
- Understanding tasting and nosing profiles
- Different bar tools for different drinks and their proper use
- Common and uncommon garnish and styling techniques
- Hands-on craft and classic cocktail making
- And more
At the end of the course, you will be given a certificate of completion and will have an opportunity to be invited to the Cocktail Collective’s NTB (New to Bartending) Cocktail Challenge where you will have the chance to display the skills and knowledge gained over the course.

FAQS
Do I have to attend every part of the course?
It is not required to attend every part. Each part will inevitably tie into the next. To receive the certificate of completion, attendance and participation in every part are required. To be invited to the NIB Cocktail Challenge, attendance and participation in every part are required.
What is the NTB (NEW TO BARTENDING) Cocktail Challenge?
The NTB Cocktail Challenge is a competition that is hosted by the Cocktail Collective in partnership with local distilleries, vendors, and more. This competition is to show off the skills you have learned over the 3 months of this course. You will be challenged to make a signature cocktail using surprise ingredients. More details will be given to those who are invited. If invited, participation is voluntary. You are able to turn down the invitation.
What if I don't drink? Can I still participate?
There is no requirement to drink to participate. That being said, if you are unable to sample the spirits to determine taste profiles for how to pair and mix properly, this course may not be worth it for you.
